One to One Support Services delivers Apprenticeship Training Courses Level 3 in Lead Adult Care Worker. Apprenticeships are open to all and One to One is able to provide necessary training and assessing for both intermediate or advanced apprenticeships.

Each Apprenticeship is made up of different qualifications. However, they all share the same compulsory components. Advanced Apprenticeships are equated to A-Levels.

Why choose an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to work for a real employer, earn a wage and gain valuable workplace skills.

What will the course cover?

There are mandatory units along with optional units from which a selection can be made. Here is a list of closely aligned themes for the apprenticeship:

  • Communication
  • Personal Development
  • Equality and Inclusion
  • Duty of Care
  • Safeguarding and protection
  • Role of the health and social care worker
  • Person Centred Approaches
  • Health and Safety
  • Handling Information

After completion of mandatory units, the apprentice must evidence that they have completed an induction based on the standards of the Care Certificate, achieved in the mandatory qualification, show evidence of the relevant behaviours and have passed their maths and English at a Level 2. During the last month of an apprenticeship, the apprentice will need to complete a self-assessment.

Once all this has been completed apprentices will need to complete and end-point assessment. This will include a 60 question test based on scenarios in care. The apprentice will also be required to undertake an interview with an independent assessor.

How long is the course?

Advanced (Level 3) - Between 12-24 months
