Children & Family ServicesOne to One provides Family Support Workers - Staff who can facilitate support to families / carers and children who require assistance. Our staff also have knowledge and experience with children who have additional or complex needs and disabilities. We recognise that for children with complex needs and sensory impairments, education problems are increased with each additional disability. Our staff promote children to be independent and help them to maximise their skills and abilities to the best of their potential. Remembering that children also need stimulation, and lots of fun in a safe environment, from people who can communicate in their preferred language and actively learn to understand them and their needs. The majority of staff have transport to escort you and take you where you need to go.

How do we work?
The amount of hours for a support service can vary, the hours can be used on an ad hoc basis, daily, or weekly. Supporting you at a time and place of your choice. We work to suit your needs. You may just want assistance during school holiday periods, we are there to support you.
A Quality Service In order to provide the best service for you, staff are uniquely matched to each person based upon their qualifications and experiences. Services are regularly reviewed with the person and their chosen key people in order for the person to make changes and give feedback. Tailoring the service and gaining information from the person about their preferences, wishes and needs enables staff to provide exactly the right support. This is important for the person and its important to us. Peoples needs and situations change and our services are flexible to accommodate this. Staff at One to One Support Services are professional and work from a strict Code of Practice. they will act with respect, discretion and confidentiality at all times. Promoting and supporting people to be as independent as possible. All our staff are thoroughly vetted at interview stage and have an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check with all references gained prior to commencing work. When services are being delivered a manager is on call 24 hours a day. A Frequently asked question is how much does this cost? This is hard to answer as our services are tailored to individual needs. It is best is to give us a call and chat about what you require. Our services are not generic, together we design your service with you at the centre. We understand a persons needs are individual.
